Case File # 218 - [Adorable]

Hi everyone,
This week I would like to share the layout I made for the CSI case file # 218. Although my photos are Halloween themed, I still found that the challenge colours worked with them.

Here's the case file:

And here's my layout:

I have used all the colours; *Navy, *Light seafoam green, *White, *Yellow, and *Teal.

For the evidence I have: *Dots, *Hearts (button), *Leaves, *Bow, *Metal, and *Circles.

For the testimony I chose to *Write your journaling as a dialogue*.

The photos are of my grand-daughter, Coraline. Her big sister, Rosalie, decided that Coraline would be a chicken for Halloween.

The journaling goes as follows;
"Rosalie, what is Coraline going to be for Halloween?"
"A chicken."
"A chicken!"
"Yeah"
"OK....."
So Daphné found a picture of a chicken costume and we got to work. We were quite pleased with the result. The costume was a big hit. Coraline was absolutely ADORABLE.

I hope you like it.

Thank you for stopping by, and please have a look-see at my first blog post featuring a layout I did for a past case file.

Happy scrapping,
Jacynthe

CSI Challenge #175 [Allo Maxime]

For my very first blog post I wanted to share a layout made for the CSI Challenge # 175. I finished it after the due date and never posted it to the site. Here it is:

And here is the case file:

All the colours were used.

From the evidence I used: Polka dots, Grid pattern, Animal, Heart (button), Flowers, Leaves/stems, Buttons, and a Scallop punched border.

From the testimony I: Documented a pet and used the inspiration word Hello (Allo) as part of the title.

I was inspired by the sketch to used the three photos and the banners.

The translated journaling reads:
When we moved to the farm I wondered how Maxime would react. She had always lived in town. She had her territory and her habits. Here, all that would change. So far she seems to be settling in just fine but I still worry if she doesn't come when I call her. There are many things that could happen to her here. I'd rather not think about them too much. She will soon be sixteen. I'd like her to live for a while yet.

Thank you for stopping by. I hope you will take the time to say a quick "hello".
